Get Ether
Ether (ETH) is required only for bridging into Lightchain AI. Once on the Lightchain network, LCAI is the native gas currency used for transactions, staking, and interacting with the ecosystem.
Do not use centralized wallets like Binance or Coinbase directly.
Transfer ETH to a self-custody wallet (MetaMask or Trust Wallet).
1. Buy Ether with a Debit or Credit Card
You can buy ETH directly using cards from these trusted platforms: After purchase, transfer ETH to your MetaMask or Trust Wallet.2. Secure Your Ether
Before withdrawing or bridging, make sure you have a non-custodial wallet ready to receive funds: Avoid keeping ETH on centralized exchanges — they control your keys. You can only withdraw to a self-custody wallet you have already set up.3. Transfer Ether from Other Networks
If you already own crypto (on BSC, Polygon, etc.), bridge it to Ethereum using:Steps to Bridge
- Connect your wallet (MetaMask/Trust Wallet).
- Select Source (e.g., BSC) and Destination (Ethereum).
- Approve and confirm the transaction.
- Wait for confirmation (a few minutes).
4. Use Ether on Lightchain AI
Once you have ETH in a self-custody wallet, you can:- Bridge ETH into Lightchain AI to receive LCAI, the native gas currency of the network.
- Swap ETH for LCAI tokens on Ethereum (e.g., via Uniswap) and then bridge.
- Use LCAI on Lightchain AI to pay gas, stake, and participate in decentralized AI.
